Energy drink duel

This blog is all about taking a closer look at two popular chocolate drinks: Milo Energy Drink and Champion Chocolate Drink. Many people enjoy them for breakfast or as a quick energy boost during the day, but it’s good to know what’s really in each cup. Here, I’ll break down their nutrition, what makes them different, and how they can fit into your daily routine. Let’s see which one really gives you the energy you need!

This is the products I used:

Nestle Milo: Choco Malt Powdered Milk Drink

Energen Champion: Powdered Chocolate malt drink with Vitamins & Eggs

Milo Energy drink

Pros:

1. Higher in protein (4g) than Champion, so it can help keep you fuller.

2. Has more fiber (2.2g) than Champion, which helps with digestion.

3. Rich in calcium (48%)

Cons:

1. Still high in sugars (16.5g) — can contribute to high daily sugar intake.

2. Contains saturated fat (2.3g) — should be limited if watching heart health.

3. Slightly higher sodium (125mg) — can add up if combined with other salty foods.

Champion Powdered Chocolate drink:

Pros:

Has no cholesterol, which is good for heart health.

Provides quick energy with 27g of carbohydrates.

Has some calcium (8%) to help support bones.

Cons:

1. High in sugar (21g) for just one sachet — can add a lot to daily sugar intake.

2. Low in fiber (1g) compared to total carbs.

3. Low protein content (2g) — not enough for lasting fullness.

Price and Availability:

Both are very affordable in ther price because the it has the same price. Can be obtain in siper markets or nearby sari-sari store

Final verdict: Which one is better?

Both Milo and Champion have their perks, but one stands out a bit more. Champion has plenty of added vitamins, but it’s higher in sugar and lower in protein and fiber. Milo, on the other hand, offers more protein and fiber to keep you fuller, plus a big boost of calcium and other nutrients that help with energy and strong bones. So, if you want a chocolate drink that’s not just sweet but also more balanced, Milo edges ahead as the better pick.
